What's wrong with Singapore?
Jackson: "Why are you staying for so long in Singapore? It's so boring!"
Me: "..."
Yu Jin: "So long in Singapore, lah! What for?"
Me: "hey! You're living in Singapore."
Now i'm used to this. It doesn't surprise me anymore.
I know...Apparently, I'm the only one to like being in Singapore. I feel there like at home, like this city would welcome me any time I come.
For me, it's like a small village: a human-giant-sized city in wich i can get myself lost without really being so. Singapore is filled up with different ambiances, different cultures...which delight me and enrich me.
I feel there like anything good may happen to me.
I met a few people there.
Some are my friends now, like Clayton and Gage.
Some are more anonymous but they get me a lot of pleasure when i see them. I notably think about my fresh fruit juices supplier.
He surprised me this year when he recognized me and even remembered what juice i like. It's been a year since i saw him.
Now, i don't really come there for tourism. I go there like i would fly back home.
This is, in a way, my second home.
I only do what any singaporean would do: hanging around, shopping, going out, having lunch or dinner with friends, sometimes i even do nothing.
It's good to be at home.
